Outlook and Dynamics CRM2011 - Tracking Mail in Multiple Exchange Accounts

Found this handy tip here

1) Remove all additional mailboxes from Outlook, leaving just the individuals
2) Go to Control Panel -> Mail -> Show Profiles -> Select the required Profile, click properties -> E-mail Accounts... -> Create a New account (Add the Additional mailbox according to your settings)
3) Back on the account settings screen, choose the Data Files tab -> Highlight the new account you just setup -> click 'Set as Default'
4) Open Outlook (Will take some time, as it is creating a new local data file)
5) Once open, select any email -> Click 'Track'
6) You can now go to your Outlook Account settings, and set the personal account as the default
7) You should now be able to track emails in both inboxes

Tested and it's working,I can track from 2(not sure if more) Exchange accounts,no dragging and dropping or forwarding required

Lync 2013 - Prepare Schema Error (Exit code "8206")

Greetings

During my explorations of the latest iteration of Lync i've stumbled upon a critical error with the first step when preparing the AD schema for Lync,the error message is fairly useless

Error: Upload C:\Program Files\Microsoft Lync Server 2013\Deployment\Setup\ExternalSchema.ldf failed. The exit code is "8206".
 Details
 Type: DeploymentException
  Stack Trace
       at Microsoft.Rtc.Management.Deployment.LcSchema.UploadSchema(String path)
at Microsoft.Rtc.Management.Deployment.LcSchema.PrepareSchema(String ldf, SchemaType schemaType)
at Microsoft.Rtc.Management.Deployment.Tasks.ServerSchemaPrepareTask.Action()

 Seems if the installer (server) cannot contact all Domain Controllers on the domain it fails out with this error. I have a secondary DC powered down to prevent replicating of critical DC issues,unfortunately the installer wants all DCs active to update the domain schema. Hope this helps

* Disable time sync on PC
* Set your computer date to January 2011
* Install the 2011 version of EasyFile software ( contact me if you need a copy )
* Disconnect network
* Log in to the client and restore your database backup

After the restore you can start updating client to latest version should you need to
